Residential Design + ADU Integration

This project focuses on the design of a multi-bedroom residence with the integration of an accessory dwelling unit (ADU), developed to expand the functionality of the home without disrupting its existing layout. The challenge was to introduce additional living space while maintaining a cohesive architectural language and clear spatial organization.

The ADU was placed on the second floor, preserving the original footprint and allowing for the creation of a shaded patio space below. This intervention enhances the relationship between indoor and outdoor environments, providing a functional area for gathering and everyday use while improving overall livability.

The design emphasizes clarity in form, efficient circulation, and the layering of program across multiple levels. Interior spaces were developed to feel open and continuous, while exterior elements reinforce the overall composition of the residence.

Developed in Revit, the project includes detailed modeling of exterior and interior spaces, as well as site and plan drawings, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to residential design and spatial integration.
